Breakfast choices felt a bit limited, requiring pre-ordering the night before, which can be tricky after dining at the local eateries. Limited toiletries for the stay. a half-empty bottle of shower gel and identical soap for handwashing didn’t exactly scream luxury. No room servicing during the stay means I found myself rationing those little amenities like instant coffee. The blinds on the window could be a hassle. a simple Venetian might’ve done a better job. My TV had too many features for my taste. I wasn't there to stream shows anyway, but it felt a bit over-the-top.

Had an amazing stay with friends. The location is perfect for exploring the area. We visited Loch Insh for some paddle boarding and also took a hike up Torr Alvie, which was a great way to enjoy the scenery. The rooms were clean, and the staff really went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The food was delicious, especially the breakfast.
